You will act as a Software Engineer and Reverse Engineer to develop cutting-edge security tools in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will deliver solutions supporting the client’s national security mission, collaborating closely with analysts, data scientists, and other software engineers. You will be expected to work largely independently, pursuing opportunities arising from your research, and responding to customer needs.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in software development and reverse engineering.
- Proficiency with Python for production-grade software development and automation of analysis/operational workflows.
- Familiarity with web traffic analysis including HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, and use of tools like Burp Suite, browser developer tools, or Wireshark.
- Experience with service containerization and deployment (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Git/GitLab and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to collect and analyze customer requirements, integrate data flows, and coordinate with a team to leverage shared libraries.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience prototyping web applications (JavaScript).
- Analyzing cybersecurity-related datasets (network traffic, OS events).
- Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
- Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
- Experience developing or reverse engineering mobile applications and communications.
- Ability to design and manipulate GitLab CI/CD automated builds.
Education/Experience:
12 years of experience with a B.S. in a technical discipline, or 10 years with an M.S.
4 years of additional software engineering experience may substitute for a B.S.
Clearance:
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
