In this role, you will support and serve on the Network Administration team, providing technical assistance to Network Administrators and System Administrators while monitoring, maintaining, and improving the organization's network infrastructure. You will design, plan, and implement network upgrades, configure and maintain network diagrams and accreditations, integrate hardware and software to meet ISO 9000 and DoD/IC standards, and automate system administration to enhance overall system performance. You will also contribute to the development of algorithms and models associated with research and development of networks, including traditional circuit-switched networks, data networks, wireless systems, and network protocols. Supporting Computer Network Defense operations and integrating analytic platforms into mission architectures are key aspects of this role.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in network engineering, administration, and systems integration
- Proficiency with network design, configuration, and maintenance tools
- Experience with network monitoring, performance optimization, and automation
- Familiarity with network protocols, traffic modeling, and resource management
- Knowledge of DoD/IC regulations, ISO 9000 compliance, and network accreditation processes
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering or related discipline with 10 years of relevant experience, or
- Master’s Degree in Network Engineering or related discipline with 8 years of relevant experience
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) required
- Four years of relevant experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree (six years for a Master’s)
Clearance:
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
